Yes, you can't tell the difference, except your balls hang a little lower.

From here:

Q. Will I still be able to ejaculate after vasectomy?

A. Yes, semen is made in the seminal vesicles and the prostate gland. These are not affected by a vasectomy. Sperm make up only 2-5% of the ejaculate so you will not be able to notice any difference in the volume of your ejaculate.

I wish I could get some laughing gas in addition to the local. Or get drunk first, or something. Anything to take my mind off of what's going on down there.

you do but you're right it contains no sperm, but the cypres gland(sp?) still produces fluid, so it has the apperance that you've blown your load as normal

Still curious, if the sperm is still produced, and the natural exit path is cut, where does it go?

I hear it is "easily" reversible in case you decide to have children again.

I've heard the opposite...

Hell I'd get one right now if that were true.

i think it depends on how they clamp it. if they clamp it then yes its reversible (in fact sometimes it even heals together) or if they seal the ends then no.

When i had mine done they did both.

According to the link posted above, it's reabsorbed into the body.

Thanks for the post man. I'm REALLY thinking about getting it done, and I don't even have any kids. Why would I want to do something like that you say? Because I don't want any kids.

Do you have any idea of how invasive a tubal ligation is versus a vasectomy? Don't post unless you have a clue.

??? Are you that dumb?

For a woman to get her tubes tied it is a major procedure. For a vasectomy it is a local and a little cut. Then you go home.

Winnar!!!
Not to mention that your SO thinks so much of you for doing it that the sex is never better :D

heh i had mine 2 months BEFORE my 2nd was born. My wife called the doctor and set it up. I was rather suprised that she had it set up also.

we were talking about getting it done. i just didn't think she would move that fast on it
