So I got WoW

if you bought it why the hell wouldn't you play it?
why the hell didn't you get a trial and test it out 1st instead of asking here?

*waits for the plethora of posts claiming how WoW is evil and how many friends/family it has destroyed

play it imo

Oh just play it you drama queen.

By now everyone playing is probably uber-leet and you won't have that much fun trying to play against a whole world full of high level characters. Course there might still be a lot of new people getting into the game (like you).

I don't play WoW, but that's the reason I'm hesitant to start playing Guild Wars again. Finding the new places to grind out cash, farming (ugh), relearning the PvP system (who the hell knows what's been nerfed by now). Factions *might* be worth it, but I'm also enjoying not being late for work ATM.

all he has to do is start on a nnew server. problem solved.
plus people are making alts all the time.

As long as you don't get too deep into it it's a very fun game. Get a good guild and stay away from the fvcking horde, and you'll be alright. ZF runs FTW.

That's what I am thinkin 🙂. Hopefully when this week is over...play time lol.

My week is filled with work XD

Yeah, you got to level 10. You never even thought about scratching the surface of the game....

BTW, dont give up when going from lvl1 to lvl 20-25. It CAN get boring at times for the first time, but then it really starts to pick up as you get deeper into the game.

I have some friends that play it a lot. I have seen a lot of the game, actually.

It just wasnt fun, not my kind of game.

BTW: Ill take the chance to say that my one friend wouldnt stop playing it all summer, and has put on a lot of weight. My other friend that plays it was already fat, but its not like its helping...

if you have any sort of an addictive personality, perhaps with other MMORPGs or anything like that to do with games, i would stay away from it if i were you

i stayed away for a while because i heard how addictive it was. then i decided to play anyway and it was fun, too much fun. finally quit 3 months later and am glad

but hey, it's your life/choice

iDo you normally buy things and then not ever use them? Like, have you ever bought a TV and then placed it in your living room and then never turned it on?

Buying the game implies you want to play, so do it already. I think it's a ****** idea, since WoW in general is a crappy game, and its quality is not reflected in its addictiveness. This is generally true of all MMORPGS though. Most of them suck yet they're all highly addictive for some reason. Once you've broken your habit of one though, you should be able to potty train yourself from the others.

You will like it. It won't be filled with Level 60's (there will be a lot, though), tons of people start new characters all the time. I have a level 40 Orc Shaman and have had a blast.

Anyone who liked D2: LOD, likes WoW 100000x better.

I'm not addicted to this game. It really is a game that you can spend an hour or 2 (even less) a day playing. I've even gone a week without playing. No worries.

Take it from a wise person. You have better things to do with your time!

IF YOU DO NOT HEED MY WARNING, TIME WILL FAIL YOU, AND ONLY YOU WILL KNOW WHY. YOUR FAMILY WILL FAIL YOU< YOUR JOB WILL FAIL YOU<AND FINALLY YOU WILL FAIL YOU<DONT ASK WHY< BUT WONDER< WOW

1. Get legendary items from newest dungeon. Proceed to step 2.
2. Newer dungeon comes out, previous legendary items become obsolete, repeat step 1.

That's WoW in a nutshell. Fall behind then you're going to join some lame a$$ guild and get handme downs while having to show up for 3 days straight worth of raids.

i guess i'm one of the few who doesn't regret playing. it really is a great game as long as you don't fail out of school or ignore your friends. my suggestion is to try out different characters and then get on a new pvp server with one you like. it's much more fun to level with others and i guess you can always transfer back to an established server if you decide to become a hard-core raider. and remember, there's always a guild full of elitist brats and a guild full of people who are too nice and let anyone join, so try to find something in between.
