its like a ticket, sort of. it was 90 bucks, for failure to stay in my lane. i don't know where i put it but the car i was driving i had just picked it up, and it had temp tags (that just said the date they expired, no other info that could be tracked). if i don't pay this how worried should i be? will i be ok, if i just don't ever go back to MASSACHUSETTS?

Pay for it and be done with it. It's not worth this being on your record, especially if it's clean.

If there is no identifying info, linking you to the temp tags, then you might be able to get away with it, but $90 isn't worth a trip to jail, because this might show up in all states.

I'm assuming this was some sort of automated ticketing device that nabbed you? If not I would assume the officer asked for your driver's license, and if you didn't show him a fake one they may be able to come after you.
