So I got my cable bill...

and it has $58 worth of pay per view movies on it! A mixture of regular and porn movies with dates ranging from 3/03 - 6/03. 3 to 4 months ago just getting billed this month!! WTF?

I tried calling in today, but they said that they are sure it was my box that ordered them. I know for a fact it wasn't... I'm going in tomorrow to fight this crap at their offices.

I am so pissed right now! :|

Nope, there is way in hell I'm going to pay $10 to spank the monkey when I can pay $3 for a 1 night rental at the local rental place.

The fishy part for me is the dates at which the movies were from... all the way back to 3/03 of this year.

they probably like to *screw* those they think would be too embarrassed to contest the charge. its probably wide spread.

cable companies use their heavy debt loads as an excuse to raise rates, however they have spent 6 times more money buying each other out than on system upgrades. why spend yourself into heavy debt just to get absolute regional monopoly power? so you can raise rates uncontested... they get away with this because the FCC is unwilling to regulate them, stupid son of Powell

I saw it in one of the local circulars. It was one year with the box and dish installed for free if you signed a one year contract. Up to two boxes. It was all the typical cable channels but no movie channels like HBO. You can get the movie channel package for $49.99. If I can find the circular I will post who it was with the deal. This was in the Rochester, NY area.

Same here, except mine comes with the full cable channels. How? I dunno, we order basic cable for about that price and cable internet, and somehow we get more channels than what we paid for. Oh well, I guess we like it here. Sorry, we do n't have access to thsoe pr0n channels incase you're wondering for free...
