I got banned for 10 days in a forum (in another website) for stating the following:

Girls should not be in hockey, not in a boy's team anyways. I bet I wouldn't be allowed to join a girl's soccer team. My hockey team had 2 girls and they were a drag for us, they had to bench two boys all the time to give them playtime and that's when the other team would attack us even more, the 2 girls sucked at hockey and it was frustrating because the other teams were all boys, we were essentially crippled 24/7.

You've been banned for the following; 7 days for your immature insensitivity i have 2 girls myself, learn to respect people.

That's not the point, the point is that biased people should not be moderating that board, I am canadian and say I was moderating this fourm, should I ban people for stating that Canada sucks at basketball or if I was a woman I should ban people for stating that women suck at Formula 1, for example? 🙄

Kind of looks like an "opinion" rather than a "fact". I do agree with you though, if you were to ask the moderator if he'd allow his 2 girls to play on a boys hockey team, I'm pretty sure he'd agree with you.

this not totally correct, I believe it depends on state/district but when i was in HS (96-2000) boys WERE allowed to play on the girls varsity soccer team if the school did NOT have a boys varsity team, the opposite was also true
 
Yeh, the "girls" would be a distraction during the game.😛

I think that ban was uncalled for. It's insensitive to other players to have to include team members that do not improve the team.

Much like they have trophies now for all teams no matter 1st or 9th in a league.
 
Did the girls fill 2 spots that needed filling on the team? Did they replace more qualified players simply because they were girls?

I'll bet it was a rec league so it didn't matter anyway. Otherwise they would not be required to play them. I know my HS Football team had a few girl players on it but they actually had a reason to be there. One could kick a ball father than any guy at that place.

Not everyone joins a sports team to play hyper-competitively. I play in a friendly beach volleyball league and we wouldn't be bothered at all if an "inferior" ring-in player was on our team.
 
Theoretically speaking, if a mod banned you for posting here, where would you go to post about how you got banned for whining about being banned?
