So, heading back to school I've been looking for a new job.

I managed to get one that is like Sub-Contracted computer repair. Basically I get work orders from the company I work for, and then I go out and represent one of a few companies that I'm contracted out to.

At first I was excited, my first tech field job, i figured it would be good since my resume is empty except for my 5+ years at the grocery store. I already do free-lance tech support/repair to people in my area, so I figured cool!

But the more I think about it it dosent seem that good. I got some documentation and manuals and this stuff really dosent seem that organized, lots of paper work, everything to the T, that kinda thing.

I guess my idea had been just take it and then if I dont like it or another job comes along quit. But the more I think about it, I think maybe I should just pull out now. I really dont like not having a set schedule :(

A good freind of mine and one of my apartment-mates, also hot hired from them, I dont wana just leave him since part of taking it was that we both where there to help eachother, but idk.......

That's pretty messed up. But a friend of mine who used to do that, and he printed out his own card. Since he provided pretty good service, the clients come back to him whenever they have computer problems --> there's your connection. Everything's hell out there. You just have to make the best out of it.

My friend told me though most of the time he ended up donig "development" instead of "repair" as described. Someone starting a business at home would call the company up and when he arrives ask him to do all sorts of things on excel and access with formula.

Sounds kinda like what i'm going to do. I guess I still have a lot of questions for the company.

Funny thing, some of the documents for the companies I'll work for are all like "Dont let the customer see anything with another companies name, and dont tell them that you dont "actually" work for the company you are representing, but we are not asking you to lie"

As for the leaving a card thing, I wish i could do such a thing, but i'mm only supposed to leave a numer for the company I was representing.

I was thinking of just skipping it, and starting my own repair/spyware removal/Formating business. But i am lazy :)

Part of my problem is that I keep thinking about work, while I am at work.....
