So I got a little curious and ran Ad-Aware on a school PC

Came up with 239 Files, Including 11 folders, and 46 registry keys. Damn thing froze when I tried to remove the files.

If I deleted the files, it would of likely crashed windows.
 
Yeah I ran Ad-Aware at my cousins place. once Her kids where complaining about how slow their computer was.

They had all kind of crap on their computer. It was interesting to see the number of cookies with sex in their titles. 😀

it won't crash windows........i've never had a problem with AAW in my life.

my boss' son's computer had 866 infected items on his computer.. no wonder it ran like a bag of crap.. PIII-600

Not to nitpick or anything, but that should say "would have". I wish people would learn to think/speak/write in something resembling an articulate manner.

The crash was probably due TO the adware/spyware and NOT adaware. I have seen that numerous time son numerous PC's that I've used it on. Once the spyware is removed they generally work quite well again. It's amazing how much crap gets installed without people knowing it.
