I decided to get a buzz cut cos my hair was thinning and I was feeling self conscious.

My father did a tidy #3, 2, 1 buzz cut but today I noticed that the sides were noticeably darker which kind of accentuated my hairloss.:hmm:

A few hours ago I went to a barber who swore he was good at short hair cuts (I was thinking about fading it)

Basically he fubar'ed my hair and I have a terrible uneven looking crew cut -- there are visible lines. He knows he messed up and just couldn't fix it so I told him to quit.D:

Has anyone ever had a HORRIBLE haircut before? Not that you didn't like it but it was just plain terrible?

Later tonight my father will have to #1 the whole thing

Fyi, saying it like numbers as you did refers to taking certain bodily functions so use something else or we will be thinking your father took a shit and piss on you. :p

Yes. I actually swore off barbers for a long time as a result of a bad haircut as a kid.

The worst though was at a little Korean owned barber shop outside of Fort Sill, OK. Not only did they shave off the mole on the back of my neck with clippers, only to "plug the hole" where I was bleeding with a bare finger before putting rubbing alcohol on it, they also managed to cut a line in my eyebrow!

The haircut was actually okay, it was everything else they cut that was horrible.

I got my first first buzz cut 3 months ago, and I just told my barber to use the shortest guard she had. I'm also thinning bad, so may as well start getting use to it. I thought it looked fine. My new office got to see my hair come in from nothing.

Based on the pics, I don't think it's that bad. You won't even notice it in a few days if your hair grows fast. Might just want to fade the back and side a bit more to get rid of the lines.

I do my own hair, and screw up the fade almost every time. I usually go a little longer though, 4,3,2.

I've been wearing a buzz cut for about 13 years. I was developing a bald spot on the top and a receding hairline in the front so I figured just cut it all off. I love it now. Nearly NO maintenance. I just have them put a #1 guard on the clippers and away they go. Takes about 4 minutes to cut it. Give it a week, it will grow back enough that you can recut it and you'll never know the difference.

Except for some of the patchiness in the back, it doesn't look that bad.

meh...give it a few days and you won't be able to notice it...

When I wore my hair super-short, the difference between a good haircut and a bad haircut was about 3 days...

I've been rocking a permanent #1-cut ceasar my entire life.

Being black kinda limits your choices a bit, but chicks kinda like it. Especially when its fresh cut, some just really like the feel. I'm not gonna complain ;)

Plus if it looks fucked up, takes about a day or two to fix it.

WTF exactly has a hair dresser got to work with if you already have it cut down to 3/2/1 length?
