Could be worse. It could be 1999 and you could be in IT doing patches and watching computers not crash while everyone else is getting sloshed or hiding out in a bunker because they're a paranoid freak instead of a drunk.

...or what happened to me back in I think it was '02 where the company said they were shutting down for two weeks because someone screwed up some financial figures. If you didn't have vacation time (because you took it when your manager ASKED YOU TO) to cover it, you went without pay.
