Always near closing time, they never have any. Like people don't get hungry at 8:55?

How the fvck do they run out of roast beef?

I would demand a month worth of rainchecks, on them.

at least you didn't get their iced tea? I remember when their iced tea had the most bacteria of any chain.

Could have been several things. Most likey is that that the GM was on vacation and the assistant manager doesn't know jack about what sort of amounts should be reordered. Most distributers don't deliver on weekends so you have to stock up on Friday for the weekend. If they didn't prepare well for the weekend they could have run out and not been replenished till Monday.

Most franchises should have *at least* one franchise store within driving distance though that they could borrow from, especially when it's your number one commidity. Whoever was managing that store, and managing above them needs to look at what happened and make sure it doesn't happen again.

....I ate an Arby-burger once.

I did too, but it was years ago. They don't have them anymore than I know of.

They have chicken burgers...not sure about non-roast beef, though.

I work at a Quiznos. It is not uncommon to run out of stuff. This Saturday we were absolutely SLAMMED ( i worked from 9am to 9pm. We were that busy). We usually make $1000-$1500 on a saturday. We made $2500+. Since we only get food shipments M-F, we were almost totally out of food today. An inconvinance, sure, but in the grand scheme of things its not that big a deal. Think of the poor employees that have to listen to every single person complain about not having food.

I emailed Arby's once for bad service and shortly afterwards received hand signed coupons from the local franchise owner for free meals.
