So I found out where I am election judging...and it's not in my area. I have to drive 30 mins away and I'm required to be there at 5:30 am. Damn. Damn. Damn. This had better be worth the community service hours. </rant>
 
I have to fufill a required amount of NHS hours. Since my chapter is organizing the projects (only NHS sponsered ones count) in a crappy manner, this is my only shot.
 
What sucks is that it probably won't do one bit of good helping you get into college, because every other high school student does community service hours, and I find it hard to believe that colleges don't realize that students do it specifically to put on their college application. Have fun. 🙂

Its not for college its for N.H.S (national honors society)
 
I always thougth volunteers for some reason did it 😛 dunno why theyd want to but I guess some people are different 😕

allright you have a point...but I could care less if I was in it or not for college apps. It just that it would look really bad if my membership was revoked. (so yes in the end you're right)

Why'd you join?

At my school you didn't have to do anything to be in NHS, you were just chosen by the faculty... there were no meetings, no requirements that you do anything... Sucks for you. 🙂
