Damn. She called me this morning to see if she could pick it up from me. An hour later, she comes over to my house to get it. DAMN, totally hot! Obviously, my first instinct was to take a picture of her and post it here. (haha)

Anyways, she was greatful. And I was hoping for a "reward" of sorts 😛, but it didn't happen.

Ok, I'm going back to sleep to have dreams about this chick. I love her.

Should've invited her in for coffee or something and then seduced her

Hahahaha. I love ATOT. Only here would I get responses like these!

Back when I was young and just out of University I was a bartender. I remember coming home late New Years Eve/Day (coming out of a cab) and slipping and falling on the ice as I got out of the cab. I guess my wallet fell out then.
My Wallet had about $450 cash in it (tips) and a paycheque for a few hundred dollars. It was my rent for January (being January 1st and all).

I remember going to bed that night utterly ruined. I'd been out of school for less than a year and I'd have to call my folks for help. My g/f told me to relax and get some sleep. Maybe someone would call.

And sure enough, next morning, a young lady called and instructed me where I could pick up my wallet. When I did, it was just as I left it. Amazing.

Things like that make a big difference in other people's lives. Whenever I find something now, I always think back to that day and try my best to get it to whoever lost it.

Good work.

when she showed up you should have told her to hold on for a second while you put on your robe and wizard hat......

A person's character is not defined by their thoughts, rather by their actions.

Besides, what do you need a purse for? 😉

It's cool it all worked out in the end, but alot of numbers in my phone would be people that would love to get their hands on things of mine (enemies of various sorts you could say).

I am sure they would tell you too that they'd have me call the finder back once I had my stuff back, but the problem is what if I never call...what could the finder really do about it?

Numbers that'd be the best bet would be things like 'Home', 'Mom and Dad', etc. Also just trying to look it up in the phone book or physically swinging by the address is good to, we rely on technology more than our feet 🙂

Had I read that 5 seconds earlier, there would have been water on my laptop.

You did the right thing. The fact that you felt bad for even thinking of being dishonest shows that you've got some good morals.

I've never understood why people get incredibly messed up on their 21st birthday. I wonder if there are any statistics on this. Anyway, we will need a pic. I'm sure she has a few in there. Just scan one in and give us a peek 😉

So...ask her out! This will make a great story to tell your children how you met

😉

I don't know exactly how much money was in it. I did look through the wallet for her license, and DID see cash in it, but didn't bother to check out how much was in there. Oh well.

I Love Her. She has MY number, but I doubt she'll ever call me 🙁

You should have put a picture of yourself in her wallet before returning it.

I found a womans wallet right outside of my car door and it had about 800.00 in it . I was like"Sweet!" But then I , like you Keyser, decided to do the right thing. In the end the woman met me at the supermarket where she dropped it crying because she was so upset about losing her RENT PAYMENT that she did not know what to do and she tried to give me a hundred, which I declined(Dumbass) I dont know, maybe doing the right thing has its place in the world . People always expect the worst from their fellow man and at the very least you proved them wrong.

Peace

It was a very sweet thing to do and helps restore my small belief in the kindness of humans. Please note that it is a VERY small belief.

You did the right thing. That's what matters. Everybody thinks about keeping something for a split second when they first find it. I found a watch today at the gym and did the exact same thing. Thought about keeping it for a sec and then turned it in.

Haha, that would have been classic if I put my picture in it. Like a seductive pose or something.

Like George Castansa's underwear/Chassie lounnge pose :Q
