Edit: For all the "Why?" people...isn't it a bit faster than a V6 Mustang? If he had one, would you all say "Why?"? Somehow I doubt it.

You seriously got issues if you're gonna be embarrassed to take your car out to the track.
That's what people do. They take their car out to the track to check out it's potential.
I've seen 00 buicks out there, and even a Chevy Suburban. It's fun and you get an Adrenalin rush.

And those magazine stats don't always show the true numbers. How many magazines show that a IS300 5-spd can run 14.9s? Or a 95 Maxima SE 5-spd can run a 14.8s? Or a 2002 6-spd can run a 13.8?

heh.. I saw a guy take his ATV on the track...he was running next to a Yahama R6. He ran a 17s while the R6 ran a 11s. Both were having fun.

Really? My buddy with the 99 GLE got a 88MPH when he ran a 16.11s. So he could be in 15.4s? That's pretty freaking good.

I'm just saying in general that trap speeds are indicative of the 1/4 you should be running. There are a bunch of online calculators that can tell you the approximate trap speed you should have based off your 1/4 time. Of course a lot depends on elevation, track conditions, (horrible when you went) driver, etc etc.
