I bought it several months ago, just never got around to actually playing BI. It was my goal to beat RTW with at least 1 faction first. Well, I accomplished that late last night, so I started playing BI this morning.
Perhaps someone here can answer this question.
Why do any territories I gain steadily drop into debt? Its happened when I tried the Goths, the Saxons, and the Franks. I've got trade rights with several factions. Originally, the AI finance policy was defaulted to the max spend setting, I turned that down, but it only helped a little, and temporarily at that.
I never had serious problems dropping into debt in RTW. What makes BI so different?
