the viewable on the monitors is really really close to equal so i got lucky and they line up next to eachother almost exactly right, like others have said you get used to the bar in the middle during movie playback, i dont really even notice it anymore....

take a look at how it does.... i dont know why the CRT shows up so much "lighter" in the pics....irl, the pictures look almost identical....

Is this going to let you get your website design business take off?

And what pics?

actually i picked up two more web design jobs this week...it certainly makes it easier to work with two monitors than one...

I have a dual monitor setup too. At first it was kinda ghetto - 19" LCD (that I won here a couple years ago, from Soyo) and my old 17" CRT. I replaced the 17" with a 19" CRT at first, which I ended up giving to my mom as part of the PC I built her for Christmas, and I'm now using a 22" CRT beast alongside my LCD. Screen height is about the same, pixel height is the same (1280x1024 + 1360x1024), and it's sooooo nice :)

That looks terrible.

Bar in the middle.

The 21" CRT looks all washed out.

Two color contrasts during movies would be awful.

You really suck at this dual monitor thing.

That shit does look horrible.

I'd rather use one monitor and deal with that BS.

Why is the monitor on the left so washed out ?

As unusual as that is, it's really not appropriate to directly link to it on these forums.

I do think your moniters could keep up with early Dell 20" flat panels....up to about 140Mhz

Don't feel bad. My desktop drives 1 21" CRT, 1 19" LCD, and 1 15" CRT (arranged that way, from left to right).

both CRT's have some color issues, but I use them for code, music, or IMs, so it doesn't matter.

i explained in the first post..it doesnt look like that in real life, i dont know why the camera captures it like that, in real life the coler/brightness is barely noticeable.

i also added another 20gb 7200rpm 8mb hard drive to my raid:0 array while i was banned.... added a noticeable improvement....i use my raid:0 array for my OS and temp space for video files im encoding and what not.... im getting 70ish MB sustained read/writes from it, and burst speeds up to 150MB/s... it loads MS word 2k3 or excel 2k3 now like it's loading out of memory......
