I wanted to buy my girlfriend a digital camera, and Tiger had a nice refurb fuji one. New was abt 260 bucks and it was 130 for refurb. So ill get that and a 1 gig xd card.
Ok, leave about noon. get there at 1. Well theres a big sign on the doors that says they are having electrical work done and that they will open at 3. I think... Why could they have not posted this on the website.. or at least uner the part where they show the specific stores. Or when I tried to call them.. couldnt they add that to their message. (of course they didnt answer their phone..) So I go to Guitar Center and buy a new cable for a friends guitar and go to Boston Market to have some chicken. Get back there at 2. Wait half an hour in the car. Then I go and wait under the leaky awning until they open. Theres about 50 people standing by the door by the time they open (like 3:10) and then about 100 more people came from cars.
Once in, I had to recheck the part numbers so the warehouse people could bring the camera and memory to me from the warehouse. They send me across the store twice to talk to someone else and by the time I have my two items, theres about 20 people in front of me in line. Then they give me my camera and tell me that the cashier has to grab the memory for me when i'm checking out. Get in another line of 20 people. Get to the register and then wait 5 mins for the dumbas$ cashier to figure out that they left the camera memory in the basket that they are supposed to get it from. Check out and leave.
So it took me 3.5 hours to get a camera and memory from tigerdirect. From now on, im buying online and ONLY online.
Cliffs: never actually go to tigerdirect. Just buy online.
(also... the actual store... like the building is labeled "tigerdirect.com" with those big light up letters like on wal-mart.... kinda weird
