So I didn't change the channel and ALIAS started to come on....

Jennifer Garner in various different slutty outfits is the only thing that propels that blatant marketing vehicle. I only watched one episode, I'm pretty sure it was actually just a really long ford commercial.

I hate that show, along with other for whatever ridiculous reason popular shows including andromeda, stargate, everybody HATES raymond (worst show EVER), reality shows (almost all)

One of the only things I watch on TV is news, hockey, discovery channel, and family guy. The rest just sucks 😛 (exaggeration but still)

I watched the first season and almost didn't make it.

The only show I watch is Lost (and Sopranos if it ever runs again).

Who the fvck watches this crap? Bad acting, stupid plot, and poor action scenes. WTF
I watched this one time, the pilot. I reacted exactly the same way you just did.

I like to think that it is a common reaction, but honestly, people are just sad and must eat it up or it wouldn't be on anymore.

The first 2 seasons were good, the rest have been mostly crap, with some mediocre and the occasional (rare) really good episode.

As to Andromeda, the first season and a half were okay, the guy behind it, Robert Wolfe, knew where he was taking it, but the fired him because Sorbo wanted to turn it into "Hurcules in Space". Quality plummeted some thereafter, but like with Alias, you could occasionally find a good ep. Still, under the new direction, Sorbos character went from being a jerk to a MASSIVE jerk, and everyone started kissing his butt all the time. Even in the first season, I was hoping Tyr, the openly selfish badass, would cycle him out an airlock and take over the ship.

Stargat's gone down for a while, but the first 6 seasons or so were pretty solid. Doesn't help Richard Dean Anderson doesn't want to do the show anymore, so he isn't interested in being in each episode for more than 5 episdoes. They've also brought on the guy who played Criton on Farscape. I like Farscape, but hated that actor. If I still had cable (haven't had it since 1998) that would be enough reason for me to stop watching.
