What's the best way to begin troubleshooting to what caused this? Pointer has some lag while moving, scrolling or page up and down has some lag in the browsers..I have no idea what caused this. Have never installed any drivers. Can anybody help? Thanks

Config is :
Intel Q6600 2.4 Ghz processor
DG33BU motherboard
4GB RAM
128MB SSD
WIN 7 w/SP1 64 bit with all updates

try disabling smooth scrolling in your mouse setting and see if that makes a diff.

always had made a diff. for meh

Check the Task Manager and look for a program that's consuming too much memory than normal. Try closing it and see if it makes any difference 🙂

I had a Microsoft Wireless mouse that started exhibiting problems like this. I finally realized it started happening after I bought my iPhone 5, which I keep on my desk about a foot from the mouse. Turns out there was frequency interference between the phone and the mouse receiver. I bought a new corded mouse and the problems went away.
