So I decided to install imap as mail server....

Here's something which i'm wondering.

Installation is done through FreeBSD 6.0

I have the following options.

Build With OpenSSL support
Build in fam support for IDLE command
Include delete mails in the quota
Use gdbm db instead of system bdb
Build with IPv6 support
LDAP support
MySql Support
PostgreSQL suppor3t
Userdb support
Vpopmail/vchkpw support

Anyone know what use dbdm db instead of system bdb means? or Userdb support?

Reason why I'm asking. After installing it, I tried to access it and it told me I had an authenication error. I used my account username and password to access the imap mail.

I'm kinda lost.

AFAIK Courier uses regular Maildir for storage, so I don't know what it would need the database libraries for. Maybe it's for the virtual user support. Doesn't the FreeBSD port come with any docs like the Debian courier-doc package?
