So I completed my WOW 10 day trial, can I buy the 60 day game card or do I have to buy the retail game

The retail copy also comes with a free month of game play. So your not paying $40 just for the CDs and a new key.

Yes you can do that, I assume they are offering it at the discount through account management for the purposes of retaining new customers from the trial
You can just add the game card on to the 1 month sub that you get with the full version if you haven't already used it yet.

The bandwidth, the servers, the people who work on the servers, and the developers that do the monthly content updates.

MMOGs are pretty good for bang vs buck.

WoW has a subscriber base of 7million. Do you have any idea the bandwidth and server costs associated with such a user base?

i used to think like he did too...but its a pretty good game thats worth 15 bucks or less a month for what you get if you have the time to dedicate to it

I played Everquest 1 and 2 for a long time.considering they update the contant often its well worth it.

though Everquest 2 got boreing fast. only reason i stuck with it so long is i was in a pretty good guild. but teh BS from the leader and other crap turned me off. i had to take 2 months off (wife in a car wreck while pregnant etc) i just didnt want to get back into it.

there is a reason why Everquest is called Evercrack.

69 if you can get a collectors edition..which i did...although i have played wow in about 4 months...but try getting an original CE now its crazy what they want for it

whenever i played i still got people asking me where they can the pets that came with the CE

i would be more open to mmorpgs if it only cost the subscription fee. I think the game should be free.
