Not sure if this is better or worse:

They don't want direct linking it seems.

Works on my machine :p I don't care what you guys see

Only because it's already in your cache. I quoted your post w/ the picture to grab the URL, then pasted the address in a new tab. Sometimes I have to Ctrl+F5. After I have the pic in my cache, I can also see it throughout this thread where it was previously broken by the hotlink protection.

how long was that wolf spider living in your house?

EDIT: And did you find the spider that got it pregnant? Was it also in your house?

lol. I believe only the 2 large eyes can resolve a sharp image. If I remember correctly the others are excellent at detecting motion and changes in light but can't resolve much of an image.
Jumping spiders are the fun ones. They've got eyes all over the place, as well as the two enormous ones in front for deciding what to kill.

They're so cute when startled, too. They usually rear up and put up their two front legs, even when being disturbed by something that's many thousands of times larger.
"Bring it on! Come on, bring it! I'll bite yo fat ass, just watch me!"

Got you beat, the other night before going to bed what do I see by the door in the shadow? A pretty meaty looking spider, so I get a flashlight to get a better look at it and to make sure it is indeed a spider. Well holy shit, it freaked me out, it was not moving at all but it looked like it was and after a second I realized what I was looking at, about 30 tiny baby spiders crawling on it.

Wolf spider. Needless to say I killed it immediately and sprayed the entire area with resolve just in case I missed any of the babies. This happened 3 nights ago and I haven't slept well since :'(

These are good spiders to have around. Next time you see one put it in a cup and let it go outside in the grass.

Yeah, wolf spiders kill insects and don't make webs...what's not to like? Not that I'd want all those babies runing around the house. :D

I kill them occasionally if they really freak out the wife, but I usually just leave them alone or put them outside.

Whatever, I'd napalm that mf'er.

I'd much rather have a few harmless spiders around the house than flies, mosquitos, ect...

Actually, I'd rather have some of these bad boys around.

I've heard (more like overheard it from my parents talking with relatives) of someone dying in the field when they were picking grapes because they were bit by a black widow spider.

I have no clue. I just happen to see it. I have just sprayed my yard for bugs a week or so ago and it always seems for a week or so afterwards bugs appear in the house since they got trapped and can't go back into the yard. I'm guessing that happened with the spider, or I sure as hell hope that is what happened.

Still freaks me out, I'm a light sleeper and I've jumped up out of bed a few times in the middle of the night thinking I felt something on me now lol. My dogs look at me like wtf is wrong with you hha.

I've got a few spiders in the house . One I see every night crossing the floor hunting for food while I am laying on the couch watching tv. I just glance at it and say something like 'catch anything good tonight ?" . Spiders don't worry me and I don't have any other pests in the home either, coincident ?
