this is what they have on their myspace (http://www.myspace.com/girlfriend07:
Here's the deal: After years of spending New Year's Eve with various girlfriends and/or dates, last year we found ourselves single for the big night. We decided that rather than go to an overcrowded bar where you have to wait 25 minutes to get a drink, we would grab dinner with a bunch of our good friends and watch the ball drop at a nearby bar. Nothing fancy. What we didn't take into account, though, was that all of our friends had significant others-- we did not. Long story short, when midnight came we had nobody but each other. And that sucked. So this year we're determined to have girlfriends by New Year's Eve. We're not just looking for girls to make out out with-- that's too easy-- we want girls who are girlfriend material. And damnit, we're going to find them.
what caught my interest is that their blog, http://gf07.blogspot.com/2006/12/ten-fictional-women-who-make-it_12.html, lists "Ten Fictional Women Who Make It Difficult To Date Real Women"...so guys of ATOT, which fictional woman character created by Hollywood (listed below) makes it difficult to date REAL WOMEN. please note: i've excluded Lucy Diamond Dawson (played by jail-bait Dakota Fanning) & all the possible chicks who played in Entourage, so choose from the following list:
1. Sam in "Garden State"
2. Danielle in "The Girl Next Door"
3. Mary Jensen in "There's Something About Mary"
4. Ali Mills in "The Karate Kid"
5. Jane Weston in "Outside Providence"
6. Marta #1 in "Arrested Development"
7. Terry Griffith in "Just One Of The Guys"
8. Beth Wagner in "Road Trip"
and oh yeah, if any of you are like these 2 guys trying to find girlfriends for New Year's Eve, do share.
