Looks gold because it's reflecting the decor in the room, it's very nice brushed aluminium.

Very happy with it! Using Windows Media 10 owns iTunes IMHO.

There does appear to be a perceptable click between seemless track transitions tho...
 
And another thing, someone set me up the surprise. The stock headphones DON'T suck hard. Tried my GF's Gen4 stock phones on it and they are like night and day. Clear treble and good bass reproduction for earbuds, mids ok, but then I have messed with the custom EQ.

Thanks. It seems like a nice toy but the buttons remind me of an old 1986 CD player. I am not too fond of the squared style.

I really like the Creative Muvo slim above all other mp3 players.
