So i bought WoW

My buddy at eb, insisted I'd like the game since I'm a huge Lord of the Rings fan and that whole genre of stuff.
I was contemplating CIV IV or WoW. He put it in my hands and said you'll LOVE IT, it's great, my brother plays it, bla bla bla. Then some random customer, walks by and said, it's addicting. I was struggling with it, then another buddy behind the counter said, don't show me that game, I'm just getting over it.
So I bought it.
Great worlds, fun to walk around in.
Unless you're doing PvPlayer, forget it *yawn*.
PLUS you have to pay for the thing, monthly, wth is that?
Either you buy the game and play for free, OR, give me the game and I'll pay for the subscription.
ie - Novalogic Delta Force Black Hawk Down.
Completely different game, not comparing them, comparing how business should be done.
Me and my buddies have been buying Nova's products for years because of that.
Blizzard can shove it.
What's the best way to get rid of this game?
eBay im guessing?

sorry, but you can't get rid of it by selling it as it's in violation of the eula. once you buy it, it's yours. the only thing you can do is give it away

Do you also have a habit of buying cars and then complaining that they need gas to run?

well my buddy who gives me pretty good discounts at eb, rammed it into my hands, with another buddy behind the counter sayin, you'll love it...etc..etc...guess i just got a little used to novalogic giving free server playtime for their games. (considering i got blackhawk down for $10 when working at Crap Buy).
so im gonna find someone and sell it off, or play it when i'm retired in 60years haha, otherwise f.it
i figured, eh why not. i bit the bullet and what a mistake.
but ill learn to diss the game any chance i get, if someone else asks or talks about it 😉
give the game for free and ill pay to play

we'll buy the game, you supply us the servers for free.

I used to get TV over the air as well. Then cable came out, and now I pay for satellite. I must be a rube to pay for a service that is easily gotten for free though? 😉

Also FYI to all those interested there are "Friend" account keys, that IIRC are 1-2 week free trials. You borrow your buddies disks and get the key that comes on the slip. I've never gave it out, though I'm fairly sure it's not re-usable after the first activation. Anyone have the skinny on that?

With the slight difference that those games weren't hosted in datacenters the size of small towns.

You know I'm tempted to go off on a rant on the op but I'm not going to bother. I wish more MMOs would go by the model of giving the game away but you pay for the monthly fee (a la EVE Online) but it doesn't always work out that way. It sure as heck isn't cheap to run the datacenters that they do in order to support this game but I'm sure that the op is clueless about this side of the business.
