Spent yesterday afternoon moving 3 car loads of almost all my important stuff, aka an airbed some clothes and my desk/computer/nice new stereo I got to treat myself

Got it all set up and running, and the stereo is fantastic. Worth twice what I paid. However I am definitely gonna look at what some extra sound insulation upgrades would cost.

So I'm sitting here rocking out as much as I can this late when I already feel extra bad about being loud on my second day in the neighborhood, and then more sad because my dumb ass didn't schedule for cable early enough so I have to wait until tomorrow evening, when I remember about a new wifi hotspot app that I heard of this morning in MD&G, FoxFi. And I remember that when I stopped by my apartment after work today to pick up another car load of stuff, I had the forethought to grab an old usb wireless adapter (since I left behind the laptop for some reason and foxfi is only a wifi/bluetooth hotspot, not a tether)

Anyhow, I get all the tubes lined up and go do a speedtest and get this

So anyhow it's been a good couple days. What about you, ATOT?

WHat`s wrong with it? The average house price up here in Canada is $369,677.

Canada is in a giant bubble. You know things are crazy when cities in Saskatchewan have $200k+ "starter homes" - and they're 600sqft derelict shacks in the hood. Regina FFS!

There are dink towns in the prairies, near the bubbling cities... a few years back they had free lots, and 10 years tax free, anything just to get someone to build. Now they're asking $50k. lmao.

That looks a bit silly to me.

Van and TO are completely crazy too, but at least they are international cities.

OP - sorry for the derail, looks good man. Is the gas meter up front standard procedure there?

The question isn't what's wrong with his house, it's what's wrong with the Canadian housing market. You guys are going through a severe bubble that hasn't popped yet.

Yeah there's nothing wrong with the house. It's very solid, with good wiring and plumbing, in a good neighborhood in a great suburb.

It's just in Oklahoma which is a lot less exciting than California or something.

Location location. You can still find decent priced homes. The OP is lucky enough to have that combination: a decent home price and a good job. Congrats are in order OP.
