So, I bought a bunch of canary-colored legal pads

I hate those things with a passion. Do you know how hard it is to find cheap, legal-size filing cabinets? And that's before we get into pendaflex folders and other accoutrements. When I used to have to use these I always got the powder blue ones.

Hmm... I feel like I'm missing something here. First, I'm trying to figure out why a legal pad purchase is thread worthy, and secondly, that they apparently come in colors other than dull ugly yellow. It's like there's a joke or pop culture reference in here, that I'm not a party to.

Don't really need a second or third after that!

I am more concerned that the op has confessed to be a lamb yet is not using parchment.

I've had a stack of them buried away for probably 20 years. No sense using them since I can't read my own writing.

Nope. Not that I'm aware of. But then I've been out of practice for about 30 years. Just retired not disbarred. I mention that because it's my first thought when someone says that.
