So I assembled my computer....

So I ordered my SFF computer, assembled it...
It wont turn on.

Its an ASUS mobo
Core 2 Duo CPU (yes the mobo supports C2D)
1GB single channel RAM
QPACK case
600W PSU
Lite on drive....

I know the mobo has power, because the little light turns on when I hook up the PSU, but the computer wont fire up when I push the power button.

Anyone know some troubleshooting tricks I could try?
Thanks

Check to see if there's a secondary power connector for your motherboard and graphics card.

Also, many motherboards will not turn on until a CPU fan is plugged into the jack set aside for the CPU fan.

That, or just short the pins that the power button connects to with a screwdriver. Primitive, but it's an easy way to tell if your power button is broken.
