a few months ago because thier billing emails are identical, web layout at the time was kinda the same, and she proceeded to tell me "no we have NOTHING to do with Newegg, were owned by 2 different people, its just that we use the same software as newegg so we look alike but we're not one and the same."

I believed her. She said some valid points that made sense till today. I order a few days ago a USB Wireless card. Showed up today and on the very bottom of the box with the Chiefvalue reciept there is a catalog from who? NEWEGG! WTF they are then same and if not why would they be putting in a shopping catalog for what was supposed to be thier competitor

If you ever look at the shipping warehouses, they all ship from the same address that newegg uses.

There's actually only one store in the entire US. Every other company in the country just dropships from the main warehouse either to their B&M store or over the internet.

also if you check out the refurb section they have the same items (not the same prices) and if you buy one out it goes out of stock on the other site at the same time.
