"In the digitally-remastered 1965 special, A Charlie Brown Christmas, Charlie Brown complains about the overwhelming materialism that he sees everywhere during the Christmas season. Lucy suggests that he become director of the school Christmas pageant, and Charlie Brown accepts, but it proves to be a frustrating struggle. When an attempt to restore the proper spirit with a forlorn little fir Christmas tree fails, Charlie Brown needs Linus' help to learn what the real meaning of Christmas is. "

And there were in the same country shepherds abiding in the field, keeping watch over their flock by night. And, lo, the angel of the Lord came upon them, and the glory of the Lord shone round about them: and they were sore afraid. And the angel said unto them, Fear not: for, behold, I bring you good tidings of great joy, which shall be to all people.

For unto you is born this day in the city of David a Saviour, which is Christ the Lord. And this shall be a sign unto you; Ye shall find the babe wrapped in swaddling clothes, lying in a manger. And suddenly there was with the angel a multitude of the heavenly host praising God, and saying, Glory to God in the highest, and on earth peace, good will toward men.

Anyone remember that weird animated Christmas special from the early 80's? All the characters were bizarre looking aliens.

I can't remember.

I believe it was done by the same animators that did the 1st Little Mermaid.

I found it!!!! A Cosmic Christmas.

That is "the Year without a Santa Clause". Same people who did Rudolf the Red Nosed Reindeer, and Here comes Santa Clause, and Little Drummer Boy.

(Damn I am showing my Age)

I watch those with my son now, and he loves them. I get teary eyed whenever I watch them because the first tiem I ever saw them I was at My grandmothers house and we had BOTH stes of Grandparents there. Now, all that I have left out of my grandparents is m grandmother on my mom's side. 🙁🙁🙁

Even though I don't really believe in god or go to church ever that part always makes me feel warm and fuzzy inside.
