I am actually going to be in the crowd that is "cheering" for Tom Petty during the halftime. Should be pretty cool. Tom petty is going to be on a big heart singing, and we will be cheering just to the left of the main stage. We will be right in the front, so I am hoping I can get on TV.

They still havent finished the patriots graphic in the end zone. The Giants logo was already on the field, however. All of the lower stadium seats get a "Super Bowl 42" pad with a pocket in it full of coupons and such.

We have another rehearsal on Thursday for like 5 hours. Its such a waste of time, but we have to do it to be in the show.

I took some pictures of the inside of the stadium on my cell phone, I will upload them if enough of you guys want to see it!

If you are on TV take a screen cap and point out the really small head that represents yours ;)

are you a guy or girl, btw?

Guy, me and about 20 guys in my fraternity were asked to do the show.

We had to rehearse what order we were supposed to be in to "rush" the stage. I am in group D, so we get to be right in the very front of the stage, which should be cool.

I went to the Superbowl in Houston a few years back. No coupons to be found, but it did include a digital-tuner radio (still use it on treadmills at places where the TV requires a radio). I'm sure other goodies were in there I just can't remember what they were.

I did something similar (though much smaller scale) for the University Games in Bangkok. I was on a sailboat on wheels waving to the crowd with a spotlight on me while my buddy's voice came over the speakers and said 'Thank you for your hospitality, bla bla bla.' Anyway I understand the time wasting you speak of, all I had to do was stand at the bow and wave and it took two full days of sitting around doing nothing. Kind of fun to be backstage, though, definitely worth the boredom. Plus I was on Thai TV for two nights in a row!
