my l337 paint skillz will show you what happened

the red box is me, the green box is the truck that pulled up beside me, the grey box is the car that ran the red light and almost creamed me

i'm sitting at a red light waiting on traffic to clear to make a right turn with my signal on, mind you...and some woman in a huge green truck pulls up on my right side to also turn right...keep in mind this is only one lane in each direction, granted it's about 3 feet wider than a standard lane, but it certianly isn't ****** two lanes...traffic never cleared, the light turns green, i let out my clutch and prepare to turn right and have to slam on the brakes due to this idiot sitting there...so i'm waiting for her to move but she's just looking at me with that deer in headlights look, so i'm like ****** it...i'll just go forward...enter grey car that runs the red light and misses my front bumper by about 6 inches

i hate people

heh...i'm pretty sure it was a little old lady in the car that ran the red light, but i didn't get a good look at her as she sped by :roll:
 
Gah.....i saw a kid who lives close to me get hit by a car.......his brother was chasing him and he ran into the street and got nailed......the sad thing was he got up and got hit again......then he was unconcious.......He got fuvked up pretty bad.......he had a lot of surgery and on his head it got split open.....it was sick

Hmm, I don't know where you live, but here it's common practice to make a one lane road two when turning right at an intersection (room allowing).

Ok, I'm may be a moron but according to your pic and your description...

You show the gray car going "west". You are stopped facing "north" and making a turn to go "east". How does the gray car almost "cream you". Granted, he's a moron for running a red light but he's in a completley different lane than you are and is headed in a different direction.

Also, again, according to your AWESOME drawring (😉) you show the woman in the green truck on your right side, making the same "eastbound" turn as you intend to. However, it's common road ettiquette to stay to the side of the road of the intended turn. That is, if you're turning right then hug the right-hand side of the road, if you're turning left, hug the left-side of the road. She may have gotten confused that you were on the left-hand side of the road making a right turn. However, she should have been paying attention to your turn signal.

Granted, this is only based off your drawing. I'm not trying to discredit your rant, just trying to be realisitic about it.

the grey car almost hit me because i finally went forward instead of turning since the broad in the truck didn't move for about 5 seconds

Freaking MORONS.

But you should take my advice about which side to hug when making turns. At least for your safety so you can minimize this same thing happening again. We have many single-lane roads that flare out at intersections where I live. They essentially become very tight, two lanes. You're expected to hug the side that you intend to turn if you're turning.

Hey traffic cop, are you saying that he should have hugged the right side of road by going into the shoulder? Not only is that illegal, but it is noob. I always stay in between the lines whether I'm going straight or right as all drivers should do. Learn how to drive.
