So how was your dinner?

So today I got roped into going to this Colombian fast food restaurant and honestly I didn't expect much from it but I ordered one of their burgers just to be safe so I wouldn't waste money on something I wouldn't like.

So first of all when the waitress brought over my plate I literally asked "How do I eat this?" This burger was HUGE, as you can see from the picture I had to push down on the burger so I could actually take a bite out of it. I took my first bite and there was this explosion of awesomeness in my mouth, every ingredient went so well together it was amazing. The burger had 8 oz of beef, chicken breast, ham, bits of bacon, cheese, lettuce, tomato, a sauce(I am assuming it's the mayo/ketchup mix) and these small crushed potato chips. It had a smooth and crunchy texture it was like sex in my mouth.

So I continued to nibble at it around the sides because the middle of the burger was just so massive that I couldn't get my mouth on it. After eating all the sides I finished the rest of burger off with a fork and knife and it was one of the best burgers I have ever had. I have been to a lot of burger places that are highly rated and expensive but this one was definitely on the top 5 of my list and it only cost me $10.49 (Some of the really good burger places here charge $30 for a burger).

The fries went to waste because the burger just filled me up so nicely and it was just so unexpected for me because I thought it was going to be some random fast food joint with shitty food.

For those who are interested the place was called "Los Verdes" and was located in Sunnyside, NY. If you get a chance I would definitely recommend it. My girlfriend had some super hot dog thing that looked like 2 humongous hotdogs stuck together with a lot of other ingredients on top. I am probably going to buy that the next time I go there.

So what did you guys have for dinner 😀 ?

I had some kind of Indian lentil stuff. I got it from BigLots. You empty the envelope in a bowl, and nuke it for a couple minutes. I put ghost chili sauce and rice on it. Pretty delicious.

I've only eaten breakfast so far (Cinnamon Toast Crunch). Will probably have a plate of refried beans or a couple mustard sandwiches for dinner.

UPDATE: Didn't eat dinner today, but I did have 20 dino nuggets for lunch.

made panko breaded shrimp for kids and red beans and rice with sausage. Kids loved it!!

man I miss living in NYC. All the great food within blocks of my place. Cant remember the name of it but there was a japanese/cuban fusion place on 72nd street near grays papaya that I still dream about their cracklin chicken.

Hmm my dinner... Some beef jerky, crystallized ginger, a few pequin peppers, and a lot of milk.

Had great plans for a meal but shopping took way to long, and I was getting hungry, so snacked on stuff. 🙁

I had the best fried chicken from a local chicken place. There's a sign that says "We're black, so we know how to fry chicken!" LOL! They do too 😀

Stuffed chicken breast that was pan fried and finished in the oven with a side of snap peas stir fried in oil then tossed in a sauce of soy sauce, chili oil, and sesame oil.

Had some stuffed/marinated olives as well - Greek & Spanish.

I'm actually still having my dinner.

It's 11.30pm local. I picked up sushi, sake and beer and I'm polishing it off with my mom and gf.

Nothing good will come of this no matter what path you go down.

Ahh, it's not as bad as you think. Mom is in her early 50s. I'm about to turn 30. Gf has been with me for the last four years. So she knows the drill. My dad is in another country, so is her mom. Her dad passed away. So, I've never met my inlaws. It's not too bad. 😉
