There's only going to be two parts to that movie, and yes, there are plenty of anime like this.

Anime was, after all, one of the movie's main influences.

2 parts; it was originally supposed to be 3-3.5 hrs long, but quentin didnt want to cut stuff to make it shorter, so now miramax is milking the franchise by splitting it in 2

I'd say Ninja Scroll was more akin to the feel of this movie - I think Quentin really, really liked that anime . . ..
