So how many of you had your houses egged last night?

Or some other form of mischief? Ours apartment building didn't get egged, but I think somebody stole the fire extinguisher outta the hall cuz it's gone. The sign for the apartment complex got shaving creamed and somebody wrote crap in the road with shaving cream.

i was pretty amazed that i saw no eggs, shaving cream, toilet paper, or even a smashed pumpkin.

it's the end of the world as we know it.

I was driving home from work last night and things looked surprisingly clean. A far cry from when I was in my HS days and nothing was spared.

Someone left an empty candy wrapper on my doorstep...that was about the worst of it.

I did some some empty egg cartons next to the road on the way to work this morning. I didn't give my car a complete once over since I didn't have time, but I didn't see anything on it.

A year or two ago my car actually got nailed when I was driving along. I didn't realize what it was at the time. I just heard a lound bam and I thought I blew a tire or something, but everything seemed fine. I didn't think about it till the next morning I was getting something outta my car and saw this white flaky stuff on the bumper. It crumbled right off but I could see a small semi circular gouge in the plastic and then I realized it was an egg that hit my car the night before. Lame.

No eggs but a friend had his brand new wooden fence spray painted by a latino gang which loosely read, "brown power."

If it wasn't a point of reprisal that I worry my friend might get, I would put a sheet next to the fence that would be in Spanish that reads, "this is your community that allows this trash to happen. And you wonder why people make fun of you?"

Eggs are just as cheap as they've always been. $0.99 for a dozen large.

No eggs, but someone threw candy at us while my friends and I were walking down the street. It was kind of a pleasant surprise.

my neighborhood was relatively free of eggs, shaving cream and TP.

VERY unusual halloween.

My wife left out mini-packs of Animal Crackers but we weren't egged, TPed, or had any of our pumpkins smashed. I told her that she is barely above pennies or raisins and we are living dangerously. :D

A lot of people in our 'hood either gather in packs and create a candy gauntlet or leave out goodies (self-serve).

Nothing happened here. We have about 10 pumpkins littering our front yard too (decorations my wife bought, not smashed pumpkins). Wish I had a kitchen, I'd try making pumpkin mash and perhaps some pies or bread.

these scrawny kids couldn't throw an egg across the sidewalk. They dont even risk throwing there backs out trying to pick up pumpkins. Parents need to stop feeding there kid this fast food crap and give them some damn protein.

Nothing here either. One time my wife's car got egged as she was driving, and it made a semicircular cut in the paint.

The train station near my college got egged & TP'd. Actually...it was kind of funny...last night I met with my language partner, a Japanese women from the area who I talk with so that I can practice Japanese & she can practice English. And she started telling me this story about how she went to take the train and there were eggs & toilet paper everywhere and she wondered how the train station got so dirty. It's always interesting to try and explain something like this to someone outside of the culture, because once you try to explain it you realize what a weird thing it really is. Kind of like last spring when I had to explain to her what bunnies & eggs had to do with Jesus...

Living on a desolate dead end road is the shiznit. No kids, no pranks, no noise, nothing
