So how long do you want to live?

I want to live until I don't. A more pressing question is what I want to take for lunch tomorrow. I'm leaning towards a tin of tuna and pasta salad. Whatever I take, it needs to be suitable for hot weather. Fuck the heat.

I'm gonna learn how to fly. I feel it coming together, People will see me and cry. And, yes, people will remember my name.

55 at the latest. I'm already almost ten years older than I expected to last, so 55 would be the max I would want.

I don't want to live to be old and decrepit, but at the same time I'd like to be around to see where the world ends up, technologically, space travel, etc. It would be amazing to see where we are 200 years from now....well...aside from wartorn, 1 overseeing government of the peasants, and no resources.

Forever or 75. I don't want to become a big burden and losing my mind -- family is full of Alzheimer's and dementia at late age along with hardcore OCD in relative youth.

How long can my brain last implanted inside a giant robot body? That's the more important question.

You might rethink that later but at that rate I'd be down to a couple of years :)

But like I said.....

Maybe 75-80. The years after that are normally crap. Can't hear without a hearing aid, can't see without glasses made at the same factory they make glass covers for traffic lights, can't eat without dentures, can't move without a cane. It hurts everywhere, everything falls on your nerves, you can't keep damn kids off your lawn and life just generally sucks. So yeah, I don't want to live when it becomes that way. :p

On serious note I don't care how long I live I just want to stay healthy during all those years. I knew a guy at my church who was like 90 and still played hockey. He worked on a ship in the WW2 era and had some pretty interesting stories too. He recently passed away though.

lol, i dont think people who give a number like 60 or even 70 will be saying that once they make it to that age

i have a friend who says it all the time, he wants to die once he is 70 because "there will be nothing good to do after that"

so i made a google calendar reminder on his 70th birthday. if google and him and me are still around then, i will tell him his life is now meaningless according to his immature 25 year old self :D
