Definitely climate change. More acute symptoms will develop, including mass migrations and subsequent starvations/murder (in the name of national security), economic collapse, crop failure, etc, but climate change will be the precipitant of it all.

EDIT: Note I mean the collapse of humanity in its current incarnation, not the actual end of our planet... that will most likely only happen once our star balloons and engulfs our orbital sphere.

Isn't that insane? Listen to what is laid out ahead of us.. Mass migrations, wars for habitable land and water, mass starvation. All of mankind has been sold out to big oil for a few bucks. Now the death of civilization as we know it is before us and all we can do is take sides of whatever party you vote for. I imagine people of the future will not look back kindly at the perpetrators of this selling off of our planet. The worst ones will be likened to Hitler, Stalin, etc.. They are going to end up being responsible for 100 times the amount of deaths of all the worst dictators combined.

If we survive this petulant child presidency without getting nuked or cut off from the rest of the world, definitely climate change and the lack of any real plan to deal with it (and said plan could only be so effective at this point anyway) will kill what's left.

Climate change and resultant environmental/ecological collapse leading to a Soylent Green scenario.

It makes sense, doesn't it? One party has been adamant about the facts of those things that we are facing for decades now, and that they should be addressed. The other party has been, and remains, in eternal denial mode about those facts, engaging lies, slander, and corporate dollars to maintain the lie against the health, safety, and economic stability of the people of the planet. These are the facts.

So, it's inevitable that we "fight about political parties," when you consider that one of these is unambiguously and specifically engaged in the greed-driven extermination of humanity.

The Sun will of course become a Red Giant and engulf the Earth in a few Billion years or so. Earth of course will long outlast Humanity.

The world will not end, but the human race will falter in a slow spiral, mainly driven by selfishness, shortsightedness fueled by copious amounts of arrogance and ignorance.

How will the world end? Probably 5 billion years from now when the sun goes supernova, or at least grows to red giant size and envelops our orbit.

How will WE end? Certainly an asteroid impact would be capable of wiping us out and would do so eventually before the sun whacked us. But I'd vote for pandemic. That's the one with the best chance of happening before the others. Slight mutation of ebola giving it a longer incubation time and airborne transmission so that it can spread more easily before symptoms become apparent and poof. We're cooked.

There needs to be a choice for death by politicians. Seriously, global warming, corporate greed and, economic depression will spell the end.

I mean even if the coronavirus is as bad as the spanish flu, that's still just a drop in the bucket. Massive climate change will drive all sorts of wars as habitable areas change. Want to bet China and Russia end up in a big war over Siberia?

Actually our Sun is not large enough to go supernova. Only the most massive of stars are even capable of becoming supernovas.

Mayne will be clawing around his room, blind from his cataracts, and trip over the plug that is powering the Sun.

Calling it now, zombie apocalypse brought on by the Coronavirus.

Not an issue. Earth already has distressingly handsome southern swamp gentlemen that armed with crossbows for some reason, and that are proficient at zombie hunting.
