How is the job market in India these days? From what I hear a lot of call centers are being moved there; tech support, telemarketing and customer service. How is the IT market? I bet fresh graduates of Comp. Sci and the likes have more opportunities there now, then most of us have here. Almost all major US corporations are out sourcing to India and saving a lot of money. This is nothing new, this started way back in the early 90's. How are the marketing/product developement jobs? I heard (just heard, don't quote me) that a lot of marketing jobs and product development is moving to India from the US. Anyone know?
 
theyr'e going there because the people there work for less... and iirc, you are considered to be extremely lucky in india to get one of those jobs. so some article said at least.
 
its not a conscious decision on the part of indians to work for less. the cost of living in india is far lesser than that of the US. food/clothing/housing/etc are far less cheaper. Also tech jobs happen to pay more; seen that way, people are lucky enough to be qualified for such jobs.
