So how is that Avenged Sevenfold album?

I don't care for them at all... it's too bad though because those guitar players could really do some cool stuff if they ditched the makeup, facade, and sh!tty co band mates.

I still haven't heard any of thier stuff but my friends tell me I SHOULD like their music based on what I listen to now.

Waking the Fallen is a better overall CD by A7X imo... but City of Evil is right up there! It's definately more radio friendly and has some catchy songs. The guitar work as always is insane. I wish that Shadows still screamed a bit, but the bastard had his vocal cords worked on when he busted em a while back.

The dude wrecked his throat, so now his doctor won't let him do the yelling/screaming like the old albums had. Now they sound like Guns N Roses. Lame.

Yeah, it's a shame really. I Won't See You Tonight part 1 and Second Heartbeat are so much better than anything on City of Evil. They seemed to have changed more than just their singing with City of Evil.
