Win - 2 pts
Loss - 0 pts
Tie - 1pt

You also get 1 point for going into overtime and losing.

Points is the total.

No you don't get 3 points...you get 2 points for winning. Whether you won in the regular game time or in overtime. But if you are the team who loses in over time you still get 1 point.

No, he is right. They are worth three. Two for the winner, one for the loser.
