Comcast Cable - 4000/384 - $19.99/month 6 month trial - Looking for 8 mbps/768 kbps @ $53/month when upgrades are done.

Earthlink DSL - 2000/384 - $50/month - used to get 3 mbps but something is wrong with my house phone cable.

Thinking of moving from DSL to Cable.... 😕

Adelphia So. Cal
3000/128 advertised, but it is really more like 3500/440.
We pay something like $85/mo for it and digital cable tv.

edit: I should add that this is the promotional price, which ends 12/31/05. We are probably going to switch to something else when the time comes.

Yeah If anyone needs to be signed up for Comcast high spead internet, you can contact me. It is 19.99 a month right now, with free install (plus 3 dollar modem rental)

Edit:
Speedtest from the Speakeasy link posted earlier:
Last Result:
Download Speed: 3965 kbps (495.6 KB/sec transfer rate)
Upload Speed: 434 kbps (54.3 KB/sec transfer rate)

Officially: 5mb down, 768kb up.

I just had an Azareus torrent transfer at 2436KB/s, so really 25Mbps.
$91 including cable TV, tax, modem rental, and stupid non-voluntary "virus protection" fee.
