Hello, i think i am going to buy this:

Now i see it can regulate a lot of things, and tell me temperatures...but how exactly does it do that? Does it come with little things i stick in my case that tell me temperatures, or do i have to buy more? I know i need something similar to this, but what exactly does it do?

Also, i have looked at the back, and i dont think it plugs into my motherboard, but if it does, it will count as a device, right?
 
I'm pretty sure it has no plugs for the motherboard. Each fun just plugs into the unit, and then maybe there are temperature sensors for each fan as well? I searched a tad for a review, but couldn't find one.

Just use google to find a review of it. A review should tell you all the info you need.
