Ok, I just bought 2 spindles of Fujifilm CD-R today(thanks to hot deal forum). I want to receive my rebate within 20 days, so I pre-register at www.myrewards.info. I click the submit button and the page says that I will receive my 2 ebate checks for $7 within 20 days after they receive all of the following paperwork:
1. a printed copy of the screen
2. original of the store register receipt with the eligible product circled
3. original upc code from the CD-R 50 pack spindle
4. the original ebate.
Now, here is the problem....on #2...do I really need to circle the items? that sounds stupid to me...also, what do they mean by the original of the store register receipt....do they mean the rebate form...or the rebate receipt.......or the sale receipt which I am supposed to keep for myself?
On #4...the original ebate? huh? what's that?
Any help will be greatly appreciated!

The "Original Ebate" is the rebate form that was given to you at the store. Please complete this form and include this with your mailing.

Thank you for choosing Fujifilm.

-Yes, you really do need the circle the items. If its stupid, its even stupider that you spent the time to ask that when you could spent those precious 3 seconds circling it.

;)
-original of the store register receipt means exactly what it sounds like-the original receipt that came out of the cash register. If you need it for records make a copy and just sent the original one in.
-What do they mean by rebate form? Thats the little thing you fill out and mail in with the UPC and the receipt.

Good luck on life ;)

no excuse for being a jackass :disgust:

-What do they mean by rebate form?

no, it says "original eBate". had it said "original rebate form" there would be no confusion.

One more confusion here...I bought 2 spindles, therefore, i enter 2 as the number of purchase..and that's why it says that it will send me 2 ebate checks once they receive all the paperwork...but on the rebate form, it says clearly under TERMS AND CONDITIONS: Limit of one rebate per household.... so what exactly will happen to my 2 rebates here?

err, perhaps you missed the ;) ? jesus christ, you deleted it! :disgust:

as for no, it says "original eBate". had it said "original rebate form" there would be no confusion., you must have misunderstood me. I should have italicized What do they mean by rebate form, for those were his words and I was quoting him line 9.

BTW luvya, thanks for the link to myrewards, I didnt know there was a site as you describe.

I dont know how the myrewards program works but I assume that you will only be able to receive one rebate, trying for two might invalidate them both.

Ok...I have item #1, 3, 4 clear..
the original of the store register receipt is still something that bothers me. The cashier told me excludesively that I should keep the "sale receipt" no matter what. She told me that the rebate process shouldn't have anything to do with "sale receipt" ...so i am a bit confused...
if it means rebate receipt, then I can understand better.

depends on which store you bought it from...actually, i dont know if it does since you are going thru that rewards programs rather than straight to the fulfillment center. if you send the rebate straight in sometimes places like staples will take copies but i wouldnt risk with that place. just send the sales receipt in, and yes they mean the cash register receipt. I dont see why you would be in trouble as long as you keep a copy of it.

Allright.....Thanks man!
I never have good luck with rebates...that's why I am EXTREMELY cautious this time.
