So how do YOU play movies on YOUR PS3?

Looked around a bit on the net and it appears no one has a perfect way of watching movies on the PS3, accept BD's of course. Problem is that the PS3 only reads FAT32 drives and they have a file size limit of 4gb's.
Currently I use MKV2VOB to remux the files and split into smaller ones which works fine but I would rather play just 1.

So anyone have a better way? Tried the network way but it sucks, to much data to stream @1080p resolution.

I currently have a wireless network, can't run cables through home yet. So 54n is max. To slow. :(

Gotcha.

If your computer is beefy enough, you might be able to transcode the source to something less bandwidth intensive, though I'm really talking out of my ass right now since I haven't done any of this :)

TVersity will do the transcoding for you in real-time if your computer can stand it.
