So how do I stream to my new wifi Blu-Ray player?

Can anyone give me the quick and dirty on streaming? I'd like to watch our home movie library on the big TV. What do I have to do for settings on the PC? Anything on the DVD Player?

Windows 7 PC, I've already connected the player to my network via wifi and here is the unit I bought (LG). Thanks.

You can't. It doesn't support network steaming. Wifi doesn't mean it can play files from a PC.

No kidding. So it's not automatically like a PS3 or something? What's the point of wifi? Just for netflix and firmware updates?

This player has no DLNA or CIFS support, so, as already stated, you can not stream from your PC.

Copy your movies to a flash drive and play them via the player's USB port. If the files are >4GB format the flash drive to NTFS.
