I did really really bad. I haven't finished my finals yet, but I know how it's going to end. I didn't fail anything, just didn't do so good.

Expecting (finals aren't until the week after next):
Theater: A-
Effective Speech: A-
Thermodynamics: B+
Electronics Intro: A
Advanced Strength of Materials: C

Advanced strengths sucks. I put more time into that course than all the others combined, and I still do lousy. My homework grade (20% of the grade): somewhere above a 95%. Two tests, 25% of the total grade each - 70% and 62%. I need at least a 67% on the final in order to get a 70%, and I'm not used to having such a slim margin for error. Honestly, that will be cutting it close, especially given that my test average thus far is only a 66%.

Estimated GPA: 3.38. Thankfully, Advanced Strengths is only a 3 credit course, not 4. Last semester, I got a C in Ordinary and Partial differential equations.
Another two courses added up to 4 credits: B+
3 credit machine design: B+
4 credit Physics II: A
Differential Equations: C
GPA: 3.15.
Differential equations: It all looks nifty, all these crazy wave functions, ways of approximating discontinuous functions, but there are just so damned many methods to memorize for how to solve so many kinds of equations. Why couldn't there just be one method to learn first that solves anything, THEN work on the shortcut methods? And, the course had no homework grade - all tests. I'd managed B's in Calc I and II, only because of a nearly perfect homework grade in both.

I had to withdraw due to being sick for the past two months. I should get most of my tuition back though. About another month to recover, and then back at it!

As and 1 B.

The B is in Spanish. I would have had an A, but I missed 4 days. Attendence is 10% of the grade, 4 absences = 60 attendence grade = 4 points off final grade. Finals start tomorrow. These are my grades unless I major f'up. In one class I need a 51(out of 100) to keep my A.

I'll let you know after I finish my exams next week. I should be getting an A in my Windows 2003 Server course, but my Cisco routing course and linux system administration courses have some more difficult lab exams next week.

Edit - My geology course doesn't end until the first week of January, probably an A in the lecture part and a C-ish on the lab portion.

You're taking Algebra 1? How do you get through calculus without algebra?

I really have disliked this semester. Senior design is okay but haven't gotten to much cool things yet. Not sure why I took Energy Systems when I'm not a EE double major, and I thought and was told Systems Programming is great but that hasn't been the case, at all.

Haven't taken my finals yet and waiting on a few grades that could greatly affect my grade even before the final. But best guess is:

Economic Decision Analysis: A
Electric Energy Systems: AB
Systems Programming: B
Senior design: I think I just get Satisfactory or unsatisfactory until end of next semester when I actually get a grade
so might be able to get a 3.5 GPA

One of my worst semesters. I got hosed on the last systems program cause I turned it in 2 days late so will end up with like a 40% on it probably.

But it was so nice to get job offers, that it doesn't really matter about my GPA anymore. I still want to do decent of course

Chem I Lecture: I need an 86 on the final to get a B, anything between a 66-86 on the final will get me a B- (2.67 GPA, I hate +/-, fucks you over more than helps you out)
Chem I Lab: A
Physics I Lecture: I think a B on the exam will get me an A :D
Physics I Lab: A
Engineering Calculus I: Agh, I don't even know, or care
Acquisition of Knowledge (bullshit mandatory 1st years honors intro to philisophy): Ditto, probably failing
Composition II Online: Supposed to have a W, still in the course, with an F for not doing the work, WTF?!

I still have 2 exams and a test, but I've already bombed one exam so long story short: I went in with all A- or A's, I'll be leaving with HOPEFULLY B-'s.

On the bright side, I say this every semester but do better. Here's hoping that it doesn't fail me this time around cause I suck.
