So how can I quiet down my laptop fan?

I have an HP Pavillion P3-600, and the fans is somewhat annoying. Anyone done a fan mod to a laptop to make it quieter? I have no clue as to what size fan they use or if there would even be anything better out there.
 
don't really think that you can quieten down the fan in a laptop but then it isn't on continously is it?
if it's too hot & you want continous cooling without fully depending on the laptop fan the you could have a look at this slot -n cooler. 🙂
