What's a "loss leader pickup"?

Loss leader = item priced at a loss to get people into an establishment
pickup = Vehicle, typically two door, with an open bed. Commonly used to transport objects that will not fit in the trunk of your car.

Viper GTS

My dad owns the 2002 version of your car. I don't mind it, but I'm not a fan of the 5 speed transmission. That, coupled along with the seating position just don't feel right to me (I like the Automatic MUCh better)

hahahahaha

your not out the door yet!

"document preparation fee"
"financing charge"

yes, you may get a "good" deal
but just remember, these bozo's (car dealerships) are all about making money..now they have your cash, and you don't have a truck yet.
be very careful..this may be the beginning of a long negotiation that results in the deal becoming "not so good"

keep us posted on the "final" deal..

So you spent 12.5k on a truck and are not sure if you got a good deal? Man, I thought making an impulse buy for something that costs $100 was bad.....heh.

Yep...

That said if you don't get a dick in the behind for your troubles once you finally go to the dealership to finish things up it looks like you got a wicked deal.

Sounds like a great deal. But when it comes time to trade it in/resale, it'll take a significant hit, being a V6 & manual tranny.

Looks to me like an excellent deal. Trucks hold their value pretty well too, yours even more so given the price you paid.
