So how bad are the bazooka subs?

Im no car audio person, nor do I have any friends that are
On top of that I don't have a lot of money to put in to a car sub nor do I want to

Thats why the Bazooka BTA6200 looked so good, its going to be feed from my Sony CDX - S2010, Its a sub with an amp and looks clean for $150 and later if i wanted I could add a 2nd with little difficulty

Is this a bad idea?

1994 nissan altima

Thanks

I'd say Blaupunkt. Their amps are pretty nice (I've had a couple and liked them). I had to get a new amp for my new sub, and ended up getting a Bazooka amp due to its cheap price. I wish I hadn't...it has a turn on/off thump problem (not an installation problem). It's ok, at best.

everybody seems to rag on the bazooka's.....but I had one for years and thought it was great. If you're not an audio snob I think that you'll find that they're a great bang for your buck.

I agree with that. I got one for $80 a few years ago and it's been perfect for my needs.
