Dude, you know just as well as I that Washington SUCKS in primetime.
I know. That is why I say it scares me that this game should be an easy W for them.

But a lot of them sucking in primetime in more recent years has been the quarterbacking, including Cousins, who is like the opposite of Mr. Primetime.

The only primetime game they had this year so far was the Steelers game which was a weird 5:30pm kickoff on Monday, and they won it after a really bad first half. But a win is a win is a win.

This team is different so we'll see if they will show up in primetime or not.

If Washington does take care of business, I really do hope they win at least their wild card game. Not just because fuck Brady, but also because it's a feel good story for Alex Smith.

I'm concerned that Smith is not 100%. When he was playing in the SF game before he was pulled, his accuracy was noticeably off and he was sailing a lot of passes he normally doesn't. But it makes sense because he couldn't plant properly due to his calf.

I think it will be pretty obvious early on if he is 100% of not.

I'm also hoping McLaurin is 100% but if he's not, him being out there is still huge because he will draw the #1 defenders regardless. Just being a decoy on the field is a tremendous help because the crop of receivers WFT has aside from him is bottom of the barrel.

Sounds like a lucky break! ;)

Seriously does GB even need this game?
Yea, they need it for the shot at the #1 seed and a bye the first week of the playoffs. Bears need it to get into the playoffs.

Yup. 1 seed is still available to the Packers, Saints, and Seahawks. If I'm reading the standings correctly: Packers clinch 1 with a win. If that doesn't happen, then they still clinch 1 with a Seahawks loss. If that also doesn't happen, then 1 goes to the Saints if they win or the Seahawks if they lose.

Viking and Lions played what would have been a very exciting game if either team had a shot at the playoffs. As usual, Cousins padded his stats with a great game (400 yds passing, no ints) when there was nothing on the line. Was glad to see our #1 pick Justin Jefferson set a record for most receiving yards ever by a rookie.

Vikes have potential to be pretty good next year if Zimmer can get the defense back to par and the offense can continue to play well. Several good defensive players hopefully will be back after recovering from injury/covid opt out.

wait, Seahawks, wut? That can't be possible, right? Saints have at least 2 wins on them, right? At best, Seahawks can beat out the Packers for #2, I thought. er, wow, I was off. Forgot about the Saints backing their way in the last month, lol.

Packers always fall asleep for a whole quarter but then wake up and finish off opponents.

man...Dwayne Haskins is having a bad week. Precisely every TV talky person, newspaper or magazine or internet writey person, when given the time, has absolutely shit on Haskins this week, usually citing his character and value. I mean, they are dumping on him, lol.

Amazing.

That throw to David Johnson by Watson. Crazy athleticism to make that throw.

Big Ben's successor in terms of style.

I mean, Romo at the end of that game and Aikman and even at the end of the Seattle/Niners game....games that have no reason to be talking about Haskins, they are talking aboutt him. lol. I think they are just putting story to the evening game and well, they really want to talk about Alex Smith and now, especially, it's we will shit on Haskins while talking about Smith. Because it was necessary.

I think Romo just said: "If Haskins had only on-half of the desire as Alex Smith to play in this league, he would still be wearing a suit tonight."
lol

Well, since Fins lose today game vs. Bills and all 3 other teams needed to lose so Fins could sneak in but they didn't so Fins will stay home, again. Where was the Fins' defense today? Whaaaaaaaaaaaaa....

Well, it's not often that a 1st round QB is outright cut in year 2 of his career during the season.

Tom Brady will have another date with the NFC East.

I hope whoever wins buries him when they meet.
