I'm just curious in why no such thing exist. Don't you guys find it to be a hassle to apply butter everytime. Take out butter, butterknife, apply it, then get scoop some more butter, then apply some more and then clean up the knife and wrap the remaining butter left for future use. What would you guys think of a butter in a form of whip cream bottle would be like?
 
I have some in my fridge right now... butter in a spray can. I was actually looking for regular butter but the store diddn't have any.
 
Yeah.. butter spray sounds like butter flavored PAM. I don't think this is as novel as you fear ;-) There are a number of products which try to do these things.

Yes, but what is needed is I Can't Believe It Is Butter in a spray can.
